Going Down Memory Lane: New York Part 1

I love travelling, and I enjoy travelling on my own very much. On this occasion my trip down memory lane has taken me back to my visit to New York. Here are some pictures of my visit to New York.

New York is such an amazing city, a melting pot of dreams, ambition, creativity, aspiration and races. On my first day I visited The Empire State Building, The New York Public Library, Bryan Park and Times Square. I had a blast walking on those streets, the noise, sea of people and colours  was very exciting but a little frightening at the same time. I made it a routine to go back to the hostel before dark, usually around 6 or 7pm. My hostel was situated in Harlem and although it is up and coming with great new buildings, its 70s reputation still lingers in the mind. I will share more pictures next time.
